Hi, I’m Azilee
Azilee Curl
OWNER, CERTIFIED CHANGE COACH
I was lucky enough to experience pure joy growing up.
I escaped reality for 10 weeks every summer by working at a girls’ overnight camp. Our director taught us to “follow our bliss.” I learned to feel comfortable in my uniqueness and help others feel the same.
Following and fostering bliss, for myself and others, has since become my purpose.
But life threw me some curveballs, as life tends to do.
I struggled with my mental health. I felt insecure. I got a late diagnosis for a joint disorder I was born with and got reconstructive surgeries on both hips. I was unhappy at work. I was 50lb overweight.
But I was lucky enough to know that bliss was out there.
And I was even luckier to understand how my brain worked. I knew I needed help.
One day, having fallen in love, I looked in the mirror and realized that I didn’t want to feel so negative about myself when I looked back at momentous occasions in my life. When it came time to take engagement pictures or throw a wedding, I wanted to feel proud of who I was. It was time to make a change.
So I hired a coach. A nutrition coach, specifically (on top of my mental and physical care teams). And I changed my life.
I got honest with myself. I planned my ideal outcomes. And through little experiments over multiple years, I learned the strategies that worked (and didn’t!) to get me there. I felt myself come to life.
And now? Well life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but it never will be. Even on the gloomiest days, I know how to look for those glimmers of light and keep my head up. I’ve built a set of science-backed habits for myself that support me even when things get tough.
I’m in love with myself, and I’m in love with my autopilot. And I’m passionate about helping others learn the same tricks of the trade.
Oh, and those engagement photos I was so worried about? The reason I felt ready to make a change? I’m in love with those too :)
